Lost Wax Casting
At Frank Billanti Casting, we specialize in the lost-wax casting process. After 35 years of delivering quality castings using this method, customers can expect impeccable reproductions whenever they place an order. No order is too big or too small for our new modern facility.

Model Making
If you do not have an original model ready for casting, simply send us your ideas or designs on paper and we’ll create your original wax model for reproduction using CAD/CAM technology! It’s that simple. We will ensure that the designed piece meets your exact specifications before beginning reproduction. Call us today for your free quote or consultation via phone, fax, email, or in person, with any of our knowledgeable technical staff.

Direct Casting of Models
If you do have an original model made of wax, wood, plastic, or other materials that can burnout cleanly, we can cast your model directly, in the metal of your choice, followed by production of a mold if multiple pieces are desired. If you are unsure whether your model will burnout cleanly, we request a sample material for testing. Wax models, as well as all other materials, are accepted for mold making before direct casting takes place.

Mold Making
Molds can be made for original models when multiple reproductions of a design are desired. At our facility, vulcanized rubber molds or silicon molds are made at your discretion. The standard mold making process uses vulcanized rubber for any metal models, but if a particular piece is extremely delicate and cannot withstand the pressure or heat of a vulcanized rubber mold, we recommend using a silicon mold.  For example, a wax model requires a silicon mold because this type of mold does not give off any heat or extreme pressure against the more delicate models.
Expert mold making and mold cutting ensures that you receive the best quality reproductions every time!

Original Model Requirements
While wax is the preferred material for original models, we also accept models made of metal, plastic, wood, clay, seashell, or any other organic material you prefer working with. If the material can burn out completely and cleanly, leaving no ash residue behind, we can use your model for mold making and direct casting. In the event that we are unfamiliar with your plastic material, we suggest including a sample of the material so we can test for a clean burnout.
In addition to traditional jewelry pieces, we also cast a variety of other creations, such as belt buckles, decorative ornaments, equestrian items, and small to medium sized statues. Send us the exact measurements of your non-jewelry creations and we’ll give you a free estimate today!
If you have any inquiries regarding the reproduction process of your particular piece, feel free to contact us for further consultation.

Casting Metals
We offer the following metal options:

Finishing, Polishing & Stone Setting
To finalize your order, we’ll cleanly and smoothly remove all sprues from your pieces. Other finishing services include a tumble finish to rid the pieces of casting residue, polishing, and stone setting.

Get ready to receive your pieces completely finished, from beginning to end, all under one roof!
