A RANGE OF JEWELRY MANUFACTURING SERVICES

At Frank Billanti Casting Company, we are proud of our quick turnaround time, fair pricing, and high-quality jewelry manufacturing services. From CAD design to e-coating, we do it all! Learn more about our process below.

1. CAD design and print

We utilize CAD design technology to design your jewelry to your exact specifications.

2. Wax carving

Next, we’ll make a wax replica of the piece to give you a visual representation of the finished product.

3. Mold making

After creating the model, we will make a mold using Castaldo (R) materials, including silicon molds, vulcanized rubber molds, and CAD clear molds.

4. Casting

We will use the metal of your choice to cast your piece. Then, we will wash and cut the sprue, leaving behind your casting design.

5. Sprue removal & tumble

We’re almost done! We’ll use micro files and other tools to erase the sprue, leaving behind flawless pieces. We will tumble finish your jewelry to prep it for polishing, removing roughness and leaving behind shine.

6. Assembly

We will assemble your jewelry, including any hinges, clasps, and closures.

7. Stone setting

We will set the stone of your choice using the technique that suits your piece of jewelry, including prong setting, burnish (flush) setting, channel setting, pave setting, semi-bezel setting, and full-bezel setting. We ask that you supply your own stones, so you know the quality and size of the stones that you are providing to be set into your jewelry design.

8. Polish

We will give your jewelry a smooth finish with the polishing process of your choice. Options include light buff, buff, satin (matte) polished, and high (shiny) polished.

9. Electroplating/E-coating

The final (optional) part of the process involves coating your jewelry with a metal of your choice. Options include gold (with your choice of karat), rose gold plating, rhodium (regular white or black rhodium), or silver plating. We have the capability to electroplate 3 Microns of gold to your designs.

We can provide e-coating services to prevent tarnishing and scratches. Learn more about this process by contacting our team.
